Shad Hickman to be Named Head Coach

Assistant to become 4th Head Coach of Program

It has been learned that Knights Assistant Coach Shad Hickman will become the 4th Head Coach of the Richwoods High School Women's Track & Field Team. It is expected that he will accept the offer to become the successor to Rich Thole who left the position to become the Principal of Princeville High School.

Coach Hickman joined the team in 2002. He has primarily served as the Knights Throws Coach during his tenure.

He is a mathematics teacher at Richwoods and is a graduate of the school. While at Richwoods, Coach Hickman was a member of the undefeated (14-0) 1988 Class 5A State Football Champions and was a thrower on the Track team. He competed in both football and track while in college.
