Former RHS Athlete Named to Business Student Advisory Board

Dianna He to Serve on Pearson Education Board

Former Richwoods distance runner and pole vaulter Dianna He has been named to the Student Advisory Board of Pearson Education. She is a 2005 Richwoods graduate who is currently a student at the prestigious Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She is entering her senior year as an Economics major. Dianna's biography published by Pearson indicates:

Born in Northwest China, Dianna moved to the United States when she was 4 years old.

Dianna's mantra is to always engage in activities that she loves, whether they are through class, work, or extra-curricular involvement. Since coming to college, she has been active in several campus organizations both as a participant and leader, from student government to a cappella to West Philadelphia youth mentoring. In her spare time, Dianna enjoys playing classical piano, training for marathons, and traveling.

Dianna believes “It's one thing to be a student like everyone else, taking what's given by your professors and/or curriculum and satisfying the minimum requirements, but it's a whole other ballgame to be able to potentially impact that curriculum and thereby affect the youth of America by helping your peers be the best that they can be.” She is excited to have this opportunity to make a difference in the way education interacts with and is delivered to students, and looks forward to serving as a contributing member of the 2008-2009 Pearson Student Advisory Board.

Previously, Knightly Edition presented an article detailing Dianna having been named 1st runner-up to Miss National Teenager 2005.
