Richwoods 127½ IVC 21½ - results

    Knight newcomers made an impact in a double dual contest against Dunlap and IVC as Richwoods defeated Dunlap 119-31 and IVC  127½-21½. Senior newcomer Stephanie Lovingood led the Knights in 8 winning efforts in the two combined meets, including a sweep of the jumps and added a leg of the 4x400. Freshman Biannca Ward  was involved in 6 wins, claiming the 200 and legs in the 4x100 and 4x200. In the weights, Jewel Sanders threw for double wins against both sets of competitors. Jessica Smith ran legs in double winning Medley and 4x200 relays in addition to finishing 2nd in the open 100 and 3rd in the 200. Despite continuing to suffer from a creaky knee, middle distance runner Laura Craig won the 800 against both sets of competitors and anchored the uncontested 4x800.

    Seniors Alisha Smith, Ashley Gordon and Laura Unes showed their veteran leadership and produced a combined 12 scoring positions against both opponents.

    Richwoods won 15 of the 19 events against both Dunlap and IVC in the meet which represents the 46th consecutive dual meet win for the Knights.
