The Knights were faced with a very strong field of 14 teams at the Rock Island "A-B-C" Invitational. Nonetheless, the Knights proved again to be competitive in placing 6th for a second consecutive years. The top 6 teams from last year repeated with Moline and Rock Island trading places as did Homewood-Flossmore and Sterling.

The Knights' Alisha Smith ran :25.81 FAT (:25.6 conversion) in the 200 meter dash - a mark substantially under the :26.14 standard that must be met at sectional to qualify for the state championships. Also, narrowly missing qualifying standard was the second place 4 x 200 relay of Barbara Hale, Laura Unes, Ashley Gordon and Alisha Smith with a season best of 1:47.96 (1:47.8 conversion) which places the group at 14th in the all time RHS best list. Other placements in Richwoods All Time Best Lists were Julie Kaspar moving into a tie for 13th in the High Jump with her 4'  8" effort, and Brittney Wallace claiming 16th place in the 100 Hurdles with her :17.8 converted timing.

The Knights lone win of the day was Ashley Gordon's :12.9 in the 100 meter dash "C" class.
